ENVIRONMENT & HEALTH CONSCIOUS TECHNOLOGY

Tannus tires and inserts are made from a closed micro-cell polymer-based foam. The material is called Aither 1.1. Aither technology 1.1. it is highly performing and uses excellent raw materials and chemical products.

MATERIAL PROPERTY

The globally patented material (Aither 1.1) does not degrade over time. The compound does not undergo cold contraction, thermal expansion or is affected by UV rays. Aither 1.1 can also operate in a wide temperature range from -20º to 60º. After almost 15 years invested in research and development, Aither was born. The proprietary blend is the heart of all Tannus engineering. Thanks to the unique properties of the Aither material, there are benefits such as lightness, absorption of terrain irregularities and excellent grip on both dry and wet asphalt. This mixture of different types of polymers gives strength, stability, elasticity, lightness and long life to the tire. A Tannus wheel, on average, contains approximately 1,000,000,000 closed micro-air bubbles wrapped in what we call the "bone" and "muscle" of the compound. This is exactly what makes it extremely light and comfortable despite being a solid wheel (although technically, over 80% of the material is air). With the introduction of the new Aither 1.1 compound, the performance is comparable to that of traditional tube tires and is positioned as a true revolution in the solid wheel market. The material can reach up to 10 years of useful life. From the very beginning of its conception, it was designed to create a material and product that counteracts the market trend of planned obsolescence. PIN LOCKING SYSTEM

The Pin Locking System for anchoring the rim to the rim is internationally patented and certified by the TÜV. Thanks to this system, Tannus Airless tires are not only impossible to puncture but also eliminate the problem of lateral bead breaking. This combination of factors makes Tannus Airless currently the safest tire on the market.
